The "Daqian Menu" | A Culinary Tribute to Zhang Daqian
CVIEW proudly presents the "Daqian Menu," an eight-course culinary masterpiece inspired by the legendary Chinese artist Zhang Daqian. This extraordinary creation began with the serendipitous acquisition of a handwritten menu by Zhang, crafted during a private dinner in the 1960s and cherished by his daughter Ms. Zhang Xinpei for over five decades before being acquired at a Sotheby’s auction in Hong Kong. With the generous support of Zhang’s family, who shared the original recipes and cooking techniques, CVIEW’s founder and the chef team meticulously reinterpreted this historic treasure, blending traditional flavors with modern culinary innovations. Paying homage to Zhang’s artistic legacy, the "Daqian Menu" transforms cuisine into a canvas of creativity and culture, offering an immersive dining experience that invites you to explore the grandeur of Zhang Daqian’s ink wash landscapes
